IMPLICATIONS OF COMMONLY PRESCRIBED DRUGS ON ORAL HEALTH

This webinar will identify categories of drugs used in dental practice, identify commonly prescribed drugs by MD's, discuss the concept of pharmacology, review current regimes for antibiotic prophylaxis for dental hygiene treatment and conditions for which it is recommended, recognize various changes related to commonly prescribed drugs, dental considerations and modifications in treatment, and standards of practice and legal regulations as they apply to recommending, prescribing, dispensing, selling/or using drugs in dental hygiene practice.
